Whew, are we reeling from a fun NYC weekend! We had amazing weather for most of it, and even the chilly drizzle on Sunday didn’t dampen our fun. I’ll be sharing some pics later this week, but here’ s sneak peek at one of our outings…
Before I left, I did a quick fall update to our front porch. I loved the summer look so much, it took me a while to get excited about changing it for fall, but I think I’m close to a fall version of the same thing. You be the judge.
I added a cozy quilt that my grandmother made, my fun Boo Y’all planter, and some spray painted pumpkins and gourds into a bronze bucket lined with burlap.
Of course, I couldn’t part with True Blue, so I’m working her into the fall porch decor! The pumpkins, by the way, will not be staying orange.
A little makeover is coming their way this week, so stay tuned for a porch update!
The gorgeous mums on my front steps came from Home Depot and the bronze urns are a retired Southern Living at HOME product. I love the way they look together, especially in that early fall sunshine.
How are you decorating your front porch this fall? Are you all Halloween, just the fall season, or somewhere in between??

My front porch is so ugly, no amount of decorating could help. LOL! Looking good and I cannot wait to hear all about your NYC trip.

I haven’t done a thing to my porch! You live close by, want to take on a project?

I’m still in the apartment stage of life (actually I’m still in the beginning stages of the apartment stage of life) and I can’t wait to have an actual house and porch to decorate! We have a little balcony but it overlooks the dumpster, so that’s not exactly a place I want to spend time!
Anyways, your porch looks great! I’m just checking out your blog for the first time. Great stuff!

True Blue will fit in with any season.
And that Boo y’all bin makes me chuckle every time.
