It’s tough to get on the pumpkin bandwagon when I’m still sporting bermuda shorts, flip flops, and sunscreen to the preschool. This week we’ve a bit of relief from the heat and some gorgeous 80 degree days with breezes… that’s how fall eases into the South, y’all. And now I’m seeing Halloween posts and fall tablescapes all over blogland… and I STILL can’t quite get there!
I’m not seeing oranges or golds for my fall decorating this year… in fact, the last couple of years, I’ve been looking for more neutrals to embrace the season. Here’s a few fall decorating ideas I’ve pinned that ARE speaking to me…

This weekend we’re headed to Athens to see my girl, tailgate with friends, and take in the UGA game… more 80 degree weather so I’m thinking about an outfit like this…

I use a lot of wood tones and textures in my fall decorating, thrown in with some fall color. I don’t have time to do too much this year (boo!) but will just rearrange some things and make it feel more like fall…get the PB pillow covers changed, throws on the couches, pine cones, etc…
Have fun at the game. We will be at Autzen for the Duck game around the same time.

Sounds like a fun weekend. Here in WI high of 70. Perfect fall weather. Unfortunately fall is short and winter lasts forever.
